Indications:

Kliniderm® Alginate Dressings are indicated for moderate to heavily exuding chronic and acute wounds such as:

• Pressure ulcers
• Leg ulcers
• Diabetic foot ulcers
• Post–operative wounds
• Donor sites
• Can also be used to control minor bleeding in superficial wounds

Application Instructions:

1. Clean the wound area according to local protocols. Ensure the peri–wound skin is dry.
2. Select a suitable size dressing which is slightly larger than the wound. Cut the dressing to size if necessary.
3. Gently apply directly onto the wound site.
4. For cavity wounds, loosely fill ensuring that the dressing does not overlap the wound margins.
5. Cover and secure with a semi occulsive secondary dressing such as Kliniderm® Film or Kliniderm® Foam.

Removal Instructions:

To remove, gently peel back the dressing until its completely removed from the wound.
